The Garra Rufa Fish

The Garra Rufa fish a member of the cyprinidae family. They originate in Hot Spring pools of the Tigress and Euphrates rivers, in the East Anatolian Kangal region of Turkey and Iraqi and Iran. The Fish are known around Europe as “Doctor Fish”,” Little Dermatologists” and in Asia Are been called the Kissing Fish. They grow to a length between 4 to 7 cm with a color variation of gray/silver/brown. They have a ventral shaped mouth, which aids them with their Therapeutic benefits.
